Make a room inspired by the work of local artisans? Yes, please!
In 2014, the American Craft Council extended an invitation to six San Francisco designers to collaborate with local artists for their annual tradeshow. Drawing upon artist Ealish Wilson’s wall hangings, which are full of pattern, texture and color, and Lilith Rockett’s elegant and simple ceramic forms, the team created a fantastical and kaleidoscopic experience, a place both familiar and unexpected. The thrilling juxtaposition of complex patterns and bold colors with 1960’s-inspired minimalist geometries is at the core of every Alison Damonte design.
